AI monitoring in Wet Market

We designed a video analytics system for a wet market in Hong Kong. The system we tailor-made for our client monitors a set of escalators and their surrounding area. It has various functions including but is not limited to bulky object detection, abnormal event detection, and escalator condition monitoring. Face masking (blurring) is also implemented in the system to protect personal privacy.

We designed a web-based interface for our client to monitor their venue. Security feed can be viewed live, daily reports and event records are generated and stored on the cloud. In addition, alerts will be issued promptly for any matter that requires immediate attention.

Fall/Collapse Detection in Wet Market

In the second stage of the project, we created a video analytics system to detect human falling or collapsing on a set of escalators. Authorities will be notified immediately if an accident is detected. To maximize the system capability, we installed new cameras for this project instead of using pre-existing security cameras. From product design and material sourcing to assembling components and on-site installation, we completed the entire construction of the new camera system in-house.
